She Wants Revenge

Wednesday, December 28th, 2005

I have no idea if they are any good, but this album cover does it for me. I will report on if the music is any good later.

edit: Tear You Apart isn’t so bad, but a little boring.

I have installed Arch Linux on a virtual machine. It is probably rad and probably slow.

ANALYSTS FIND NEW [ Microsoft Office 12 ] TO BE AN UNNEEDED PURCHASE [ Extremely Complicated ] TO RE-LEARN AND SUGGEST KEEPING OLD VERSION.

Based on this strong advice I would suggest all MS Office users upgrade to Moleskines ASAP.

Attention Business Owner:

Unfortunately, the company was a little too successful at making
its innovations unobtrusive. In user testing, Microsoft found that
nine out of every 10 features that customers wanted to see added to
Office were already in the program. “They simply don’t know it’s
there,” Chris Capossela, a Microsoft vice president, told a developer
crowd last week. “It’s just too hard to find it.”

“Some very small percentage of people are going to react overwhelmingly
negative,” Sinofsky said in an interview. “I’m prepared for that.”

But, he warned, Microsoft may still face a tough sell. “Microsoft has
to convince (corporate customers) not only that the new version is
better, but also that there is not a significant amount of retraining
that is going to be required for users.”

Steve Ballmer more like schoolyard bully

Wednesday, September 21st, 2005

Seriously, in this picture it looks like Microsoft dude Steve Ballmer is much bigger than other Microsoft dude Bill Gates. It is a fact that Bill Gates is a wussy little chimp, and we all know about Steve Ballmer’s angry streak. It is clear to me that the reason Bill Gates doesn’t fire Steve Ballmer is that he is afraid of getting beaten up. Look at this picture:
bill gates and steve ballmer
It is obvious that Steve is way bigger than Bill and could easily throw him at Google like so many Herman Miller office chairs. Or he could give him swirlies or stuff him into a locker, as Bill experienced so many times in his friendless dweeby high school career. Perhaps Bill should look at these tips to deal with online cyber bullies, although they may just result in getting his ass kicked.
