I have installed Arch Linux on a virtual machine. It is probably rad and probably slow.

the dictatorship of the minority

Tuesday, May 31st, 2005

A “minority” of black people don’t like slavery and they are forcing their opinion on the majority of the white people who do. Dictatorship! Tyranny! Fascism! We need Hitler to protect us!

Apparantly supporting anything besides linux on x86 holds back free software and helps Microsoft.

I am mocking this guy but he really has a point. No one cars about Sparc, PA-RISC, the four or five obsolete workstations with Motorola chips, etc. One of the things that holds up Debian is the need to get everything to run on all of this crap.

x86, x86-64 and PPC are the way to go.
