I used to run KDE 2. Which is to say, I barely did anything with that computer, because it was totally fucking unusable. It sat next to a real computer, and I used it to IRC and browse the web when the real computer was occupied with BF1942 or some such.

KDE is looking a lot better these days. After trying KDE 4, I think it is unpolished, but certainly more competitive with GNOME than it used to be.

I actually heard the word “blogosphere” on Law & Order recently.

I have restored all of my old bloggings to my blog. I did this because they were offline for so long that I forgot how worthless they were. You can see many shining examples of me being drunk, being a virgin, and just being a dork. Hopefully having those old posts back will boost my Technorati authority. That would be funny.

update: SFGate reports that Kip and Nicole Macy were both arrested and released on bond, for “waging a campaign of terror against their tenants”. It seems the couple hates their tenants and want them to die, so they robbed and vandalized apartments and cut a hole in the floor.

Finally a blogger is cataloging all of the misdeeds of Comcast in one place. Also discussed are the faults of the US broadband industry, which is a huge shitpot. Comcast hasn’t cut me off or started ruining Bittorrent in my area yet, but the speed of my connection (6 mbps/384 kbps) is abysmal for the price, so fuck them.

The only really cool thing about the iPhone is the glass screen. Most other phones have plastic screens, which are truly superior at displaying scratches. However, Sony has a phone coming in the fourth quarter that has a glass screen, and Nokia has a phone on the market now that is better than the iPhone in almost every other way.
